Iciest place on Earth
While we know that many places on Earth are covered in ice, none beats Antarctica. The continent’s Antarctic Ice Sheet is the most significant single piece of ice on the planet, which contains over 26.5 million cubic kilometers of ice!
With that amount of ice, it’s not surprising that many scientists flock there to go try to find out bits of history that have been preserved for millions of years in the freezing temperatures. Finding a cold drink there isn’t a big problem, and you can have water on the rocks if you want!
