The Plan is Set in Motion
With the help of some very friendly German engineers, Geeven was given access to the 30,000-foot hole that made her child diggings look like, well, child’s play! But now what? Geeven’s masterful plan was straightforward: She wanted to go as deep as possible and record the sounds actively produced by the planet Earth.
Geeven’s plan sounded like lots of fun, but the Windischeschenbach engineers initially dismissed it. Along with a bucketload of logistical issues, which we will soon explore, the engineers believed there was nothing but silence down there… But Geeven was determined to prove them wrong.
