Brian D. Johnson – Age 75
Brian D. Johnson is another Canadian journalist who’s still alive and kicking. Best known for his film criticism work for the magazine Maclean’s, he’s also proven himself to be a multitalented creator. He has published both fiction and nonfiction books throughout his decades-long career.
What’s more, Johnson has also dabbled (and continues to do so) in filmmaking. As of 2021, the 75-year-old Al Purdy Was Here director is working on his second documentary feature, The Colour Of Ink. The film has been in production since 2019 but hasn’t been released, it seems.
