Craig Oliver – Age 84
Today’s political commentators in the Canadian media would certainly find it hard to top veteran journalist Craig Oliver’s reputation. He began his career in the ‘50s and later became a pillar of CTV News as he reported on half of the Great White North’s prime ministers.
That said, the 84-year-old Oliver is now enjoying his much-deserved retirement after announcing his departure from the news in 2019. The “family business” is well and alive, though. His daughter Annie Bergeron-Oliver is currently a reporter for CTV Hill. And we bet he couldn’t be prouder of her achievements!
