Mexico

The military units in Mexico operate a bit differently than in other countries. They comprise the Mexican Army and the Mexican Navy as two different entities, with the former also including the air forces. The latter consists of all naval infantry as well as aviation. The two separate departments are also headed by distinct federal offices.

One of the largest wars of Mexico included its anti-narcotics war that started in 2006 and was ongoing as of 2022, with about 34 of its 37 most influential figures bought down. Surrounded by countries that produce narcotics and another one that is the prime consumer, the Mexican authorities have risen to the challenge.
