Sandwiched between Argentina, Brazil, and Bolivia, Paraguay is not one of South America’s best-performing teams at World Cup tournaments. They have even qualified for the tournament on ten occasions, with their best showing being in 2010, the last appearance when they reached the quarter-finals.

Still, they’ve had some impressive players, which include the likes of Roque Santa Cruz and goalscoring goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert. They also have a country full of beautiful women who come out and showcase themselves to the world whenever their national team qualifies for the tournament, like in 2022, when they became one of the 32 countries to enter the World Cup.
