Kirk Douglas spent 66 incredible years married to Anne Buydens. Their long relationship reflected the success he achieved in his career as an actor. His appearance in the 1949 movie Champion earned him notice, leading to more work on the screen. The 2008 mockumentary Empire State Building Murders was his last recorded credit.
He marked his 100th birthday in style with a star-studded shindig attended by the likes of Steven Spielberg and Jeffery Katzenberg. His health wasn’t the best in the last couple of years, and in February 2020, he died aged 103. He rests next to his son Eric at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.
