Welcome To Antarctica
We all have experienced cold weather at some point in our lives, some a bit colder than the others, depending on the geographic location. While the Earth has some parts covered in snow, we don’t think there is a place that comes close to how cold Antarctica is.
On July 21st, 1983, at the Vostok station in Antarctica, a record was broken; the coldest temperature ever recorded on Earth at minus 89.2 degrees Celsius was experienced. This is incredibly cold by any standards, and we wonder how they kept their equipment from freezing in this extreme weather!
