Catherine Schell’s most notable performance was in the James Bond movie titled On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969. It’s always been a victory for this cinematic legend, with a succession of projects following so far, like Moon Zero Two, The Return of the Pink Panther, and Space: 1999.
Schell was born in Budapest during an allied bombing attack and lived under Russian rule after the war before finally moving to Germany, where she became an actor. In 2020, she came out of acting retirement to play the Grand Duchess Valeria in Dracula, the BBC One/Netflix show.
