It’s not easy to be a stuntman. David Holmes was Daniel Radcliffe’s former stunt double in the “Harry Potter” film series and he was left paralyzed following a tragic on-set accident. An explosion that went wrong caused him to stop feeling his legs and ended his Hollywood career abruptly.
Today, Holmes keeps busy by hosting a podcast about stunt performers. As for Radcliffe, he continues to be a beloved film star. In 2022 alone, the “Harry Potter” idol worked in Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock’s “The Lost City” and portrayed ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic in the comedy/biopic “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.”
