Andrew Chang and Carolyne Stafford – 7 years

Andrew Chang is a Canadian television journalist and one of three co-anchors of CBC Television’s nightly flagship newscast, The National, a position he holds to the day. He met Carolyn Stafford at a chemistry party. She was pursuing her master’s at the time, and he was a junior reporter at CBC Montreal. He and Stafford married in 2012.

Andrew wanted to propose by a small lake at Mont Tremblant while they were walking around the circumference. He was so nervous that he ended up walking around the whole lake. She wanted to get on with the day, but he insisted that they keep walking, and he eventually mustered the courage to get on one knee.
