Sonja Smits and Seaton McLean – Not Public

Sonja Smits and Sean McLean, the Atlantis Films co-founder, have recently returned to Smits’ childhood roots with a twist: as wine-makers, growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris.

Smits tried to launch her career in Los Angeles but came back to Canada after a miserable five years. Fortunately, when she returned, she would meet the man that would become her husband (the date is not public). She describes the process as growing vines—they have to go through some stress if you want to get the fruit you need. They are proud parents of two children, as well as many grapes. Smits appeared in the 2021 movie, Drifting Snow.
