The camera is essential in making sports thrilling to watch. However, sometimes shots don’t go as planned. This particular snap is a perfect example of that. The athlete was likely trying to pull off a magnificent aquatic gymnastics routine, only to have her efforts preserved in a less–than–flattering way!
Despite its potential embarrassment, the image is quite amusing. Between the outfit, the facial expressions, and the peculiar positioning of the arms, it almost looks like a surrealist piece of artwork. What an intriguing concept—the idea of using one’s body to bring a painting to life in water! That could make for a thrilling sport to watch.
