Literal Knock–Out

Baseball is perhaps one of the most peculiar sports ever invented. Although the game involves a ball, its primary function is to call runners out of the field. As such, it primarily consists of running bases and avoiding force–outs with little ball–hitting. Unfortunately, this base runner’s turn came to an end sooner than expected, and the catcher was not going to miss any opportunity of forcing him out of the area.

The catcher not only tagged him out by making contact with the ball, but he also made it a literal punch–out. It’s highly unlikely that the Giants anticipated such a move, as nobody could’ve seen that coming!
