John Lewis was a revered man known for utilizing his position in a constant fight against injustice and racism and devoted life to improving people’s lives. The activist left an indelible impression on countless lives!

But everyone has their own battles, and Lewis was fighting against pancreatic cancer that ultimately wore him down at the age of 80. Facing hardships was regular in John’s life, especially after being arrested nearly forty times, and it was his undying courage that earned him a ‘Presidential Medal of Freedom’ in acknowledgment of his life’s work!
