Gary Coleman, 42, 1968-2010
Born in 1968 in Illinois, Gary Coleman was a talented child star who spent most of his childhood on-set, having landed several leading roles in the 70s. The actor appeared in numerous blockbuster movies, including ‘On the Right Track’ and the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ series, for both of which he received particularly glowing critical acclaim.
Coleman’s health declined as he grew older, and in 2009, he had to undergo heart surgery, which went well, but his kidney transplants weren’t as successful. In 2010, Gary suffered a seizure, which ultimately led to his demise. Even before his tragic passing, the actor’s endearing smile had clearly lost none of its warmth!
