In 2022, Adam Ant celebrated his 68th birthday, yet his energy is as youthful as ever. During the early ’80s, the English star emerged as the lead singer of Adam and the Ants, the new wave group behind the song “Kings Of The Wild Frontier.” Perhaps his most significant contribution to music was pioneering the use of videos during that era.
Soon after, Ant started a solo career with hits like “Goody Two Shoes.” His 1995 solo album “Wonderful” spawned the top 40 US single by the same name. In 2023, the Classic Pop Mag website deemed him as the ‘Prince Charming’ poster boy of the post-punk movement.
