Robert Clary, 94 Years Old
Fans will forever remember Robert Clary as Corporal Louis LeBeau from Hogan’s Heroes. Clary started his career as a singer on a French radio station before landing in a concentration camp. After being freed from Buchenwald, Clary found his first American appearance on The Ed Wynn Show doing comedy in 1950.
Within time, Clary’s comedy skills became famous. Later in life, the Thief of Damascus star pulled in all-new fans by playing in Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2001, Clary retired, and he lives his life painting and maintaining his Parisian garden in Beverly Hills. He is the only surviving Hogan’s Heroes cast member.
