Kim Novak, 88 Years Old
Kim Novak rose to become one of the most popular stars of the ’50s and ’60s. The world came to know Novak in films like Vertigo, Picnic and Bell Book and Candle. From 1966 the Chicago-born actress started playing in fewer roles, drawing away from acting. She appeared in several movies but didn’t reach the critical acclaim of her Alfred Hitchcock breakthrough days.
Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d brought Novak back to prominence in the ’80s. The Just a Gigolo star won over audiences as Kit Marlowe in the TV series Falcon Crest just before the close of her career. We last saw Novak in Liebestraum, marking her retirement in 1991.
