Although born in the United Kingdom, Peter Mansbridge made a name for himself as a current affairs anchor for Canada’s CBC News network. He delivered momentous news from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the 9/11 attacks over his 30-year tenure as the public broadcaster’s chief correspondent.
He retired from his duties in 2017 but returns from time to time to cover big events like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding. Meanwhile, Mansbridge is enjoying his much-deserved break from work and celebrated his 73rd birthday in July 2021 with a trip to the Canadian wilderness.
