Nancy Pelosi (Born in 1940) – Speaker of the United States House of Representatives
Nancy Pelosi followed in the footsteps of her father, who was also a politician. She has served as the representative from California since 1984, moving on to become House speaker from 2007 to 2011. She was re-elected in 2019 as the House speaker after a few years and is the only woman in the country’s history to hold that position.
Pelosi married her long-term sweetheart in 1963, and they have five children together. The politician is also an author with many books published as a best-seller. She was allowed to contest for another term in 2020, which was said to be her last year as a speaker.
