It’s Thawing Faster Than Ever
Due to the massive climate changes, the large mass of ice is rapidly melting, and according to some estimates, if the whole West Antarctic Ice Sheet melted, then the global sea level will rise by five meters. That is a lot of water!
The Earth’s population needs to worry about global warming and its dire consequences because we don’t need the habitable land drowning in melted ice. While it might not seem like a big deal now, with time, if the situation doesn’t get better, Antarctica will lose most if not all of its ice.
