This Might Not Be So Smart

Jumping off a roof could be very dangerous, but not compared to sliding down one. These young people don’t seem to be worried that the water in this four-foot-deep pool might not prevent this guy from hitting the ground as he drops. 

The pool depth at the Tokyo Olympics was over 16 feet, while the diving platform was more than 32 feet above the pool. This is very far from what we can see in this picture. So we hope this guy had enough horizontal flow in his dive to keep him from hitting the ground.
