Alex Ferguson – Macclesfield, £1.5 million
Sir Alex Ferguson is the former manager of the popular football club Manchester United. He moved out of his £1.5 million Macclesfield home along with his wife back in 2010. The couple then purchased their new residence down the street for £2.5 million.
After his retirement in 2013, Ferguson announced that he would be becoming a lecturer at Harvard, signing his long-term contract in 2016 as a lecturer for HBS Executive Education. The football legend recently released his memoir Never Give In, which hit UK cinemas in May 2021 and is also available on Amazon Prime.
