Didier Drogba – Canada, £14.8 million
Widely regarded as one of the best African strikers in football history, Didier Dogba played a key role in helping Chelsea F.C win its first UEFA Champions League championship. He then moved on to CF Montreal and scored a hat-trick in his very first outing in MLS.
Drogba’s lucrative deal with CF Montreal meant that he could afford his £14.8-million seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom 8,600-square-foot mansion. He recently established the Didier Drogba Foundation, which aims to provide education and employment skills for 3 million African people on the Ivory Coast.
