Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – $100 thousand

Better known by the initials AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the current representative of New York’s 14th congressional district. She assumed office in 2019 and won her reelection bid in 2020, defeating John Cummings. She’s also the youngest woman in the history of the U.S. Senate to serve in congress.

Before venturing into politics, she held a job as a bartender and also waited tables. That’s after graduating cum laude from the Boston University, where she majored in economics and international relations. In 2019, Ocasio-Cortez was featured on the BBC 100 Women list.
