Franke Previte – $19 Million
Frank Jon Previte made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as a singer and songwriter. He headlined the ’80s pop-rock act Franke and the Knockouts. Most notably, he co-wrote music for the cult-favorite ’87 movie Dirty Dancing. One of his contributions that made it on the film’s soundtrack is (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.
The collaborative composition between Previte, Donald Markowitz, and John DeNicola earned them the Best Achievement in Music Oscar. These days Previte extends his efforts to charitable endeavors from part of the proceeds his band, The Brotherhood, rakes in.
