Bob Barker – $70 million
Robert William Barker carved a niche for himself in the game show scene, and he’s best known for hosting The Price is Right. But, impressively, he stayed on the show from 1972 to 2007, and before landing the hosting gig, he also had an equally long run hosting Truth or Consequences.
Barker settled into retirement in 2007 following a five-decade career as a game show host. He endorsed Republican candidate David Jolly’s congressional bid in 2013 by appearing in an advertisement saying the catchphrase “the choice is right.” At 97, he’s been through a lot, medically speaking, and in 2018 he landed in hospital suffering from severe backache issues.
