Tina Turner at a live show in the ’70s.
One of the most sizzling vocalists from the mid-20th century was Tina Turner. She started her career as a featured vocalist with her to-be husband’s band “Kings of Rhythm” and soon became a sensation following 1960. In 1984 she released one of her most famous songs titled “What’s Love Got to Do with It” in her multi-platinum album “Private Dancer.”
After her relationship with Ike ended in 1978, Tina got into a relationship with German musician Erwin Bach in 1986; however, she only married him 27 years later. In 2021 she appeared on the TV special “The 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.”
