Sawyer Sweeten – Suicide
Starting an acting career from a young age can turn into something sweet or destructive. It was the latter for Sawyer Sweeten, who may be best remembered for his stint in Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996 to 2005. That’s because, at just 19, he took his own life using a gun while visiting a relative in Texas in 2015.
It shocked his fans, costars, and even his manager, who said Sweeten didn’t exhibit depressive symptoms but was just extremely shy and quiet. In 2019, his family and some stars decided to dedicate a theater in his name to pay tribute to the actor who was gone too soon.
