India
With the world’s third largest military budget of $76.6 billion and about 1.45 billion active military personnel, this is one force not to be messed with. Even though the country often sounds docile, its army is primarily built to protect the vast land borderline of about 10K miles connecting them to seven different countries.
The Indian Armed Forces comprise their army, navy, and air force. Almost always involved in a minor civil war, these forces are for defense against outer enemies and troublemakers inside the country as well. They primarily have troops deployed on Pakistan and China’s borders and inside states such as Kashmir and Nagaland.
