Vietnam
The People’s Army of Vietnam is made up of a few service branches, each specializing in its own domain. This also includes one division for cyberspace operations. Initially conceived in 1944, the bloodiest fight for them was against America in the great Vietnam War of the ’50s. That was followed by two more decades of conflicts with China.
As of 2022, even though Vietnam is not in an active war, the country employs almost 470K active personnel, as well as nearly five million people reserved. If the two are combined, Vietnam would make the largest army in the world, with South Korea coming in second.
