Adele – $8.9 Million, West Sussex
Despite being a multiple Grammy-winning singer and musician, Adele opted to rent this massive mansion in West Sussex. The songstress, made famous by songs like Rolling In The Deep and Chasing Pavements, lived in the Tudor-style Lock House for two years, even though she could probably have bought it anyway.
Perhaps she was waiting for it to come on sale; it is a pretty impressive abode valued at $8.9 million. It includes 13 bedrooms, nine bathrooms and sits on an enormous 85-acre land. There is also an indoor swimming pool and a ballroom for good measure. Adele is still working on her fourth studio album.
