Jo Hall (64) – Melbourne, Victoria
Jo Hall’s youthful appearance is the first thing that catches people’s attention. But her illustrious career as an experienced television presenter proves that she should never be underestimated. She began her rise to the top with a Melbourne newspaper cadetship. Then in 1979, she joined Nine News.
Naysayers were put to shame in 1990 when Hall was presented with the Thorn Award, making her the first woman to receive that national award for journalism. And 2022 saw her holding the fort as host of four “Nine News Victoria” regional bulletins. And in her spare time, Hall serves as the patron of the Bonnie Babes, a foundation dedicated to medical research.
