Philip Stuart Brady (83) – Melbourne, Australia
In 2018, Philip Brady received the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the broadcasting industry. That was his 60th year as a media personality and voice-over artist in the industry. And it all began in 1958.
Brady was only 18 years old when he began working at Channel Nine as a booth announcer. Although he stepped out for a brief period to work for a Victorian travel agent, he was determined to make a name for himself. So by the end of the ’60s, Brady had become a familiar face in television, known for shows like “Concentration,” “Everybody’s Talking,” and “Get the Message.”
