A Lucky Break
Upon further inspection, the firefighters caught a lucky break. The storm drain was not deep at all. You can even say that the pups were just about an arm’s reach from the top. They might even be able to fish them out of the hole without using any specialized equipment at all.
If only things were that easy. As you can see, being a firefighter is a tough job even when they aren’t dealing with actual fires. Almost every day, they’re put into situations where other beings’ lives are in their hands.
