James Cameron – $700 Million

There’s only a handful of films that truly make a mark in a person’s life. If that short list includes Titanic, Avatar, and The Terminator, then thank James Cameron. Legend has it that the filmmaker, known for his exceptional storytelling skills, was inspired by the Star Wars movie to pursue directing.

Cameron has received nominations and awards from the Academy, Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice, and Directors Guild of America for his box-office creations. This is why it’s not entirely shocking to know that he has built a $700-million fortune, which is set to increase in the next years since he is working on the second installment of Avatar.
