George W. Bush – Texas, $1.3 Million
Of all the places we imagined George W. Bush to be, it certainly was not in Texas! Well, it looks like the ex-president and his wife, Laura, love the country life and decided to make their Chapel Ranch in Texas a permanent home. Their love affair with the property was also somewhat apparent during his term as they frequently visited the property.
The ranch is surrounded by lush vegetation, features stonework, and has a forty-mile biking track. It is safe to say that life for the Bushes would never be boring at this $1.3 million-worth residence!
Stacey Abrams – Atlanta, Unknown
Stacey Abrams has a lot going on in her life right now ever since she jumped on a political career, starting with a stint as a House of Representatives for the State of Georgia. Yet, beneath her tough persona and hectic schedule, Abrams still finds time to relax in her charming Atlanta home.
The home looks simple from the outside, with its double bay windows giving off classic Colonial vibes! But don’t expect to see pictures from the inside as Abrams is quite a private person. Nevertheless, we can only hope that she lets us in soon as Abrams apparently keeps a wonderful teacup collection.
Ryan Seacrest – Beverly Hills, $85 Million
TV Host Ryan Seacrest is considered an A-list celebrity himself. Therefore, it’s no surprise that he once purchased a luxurious property in Beverly Hills, previously owned by Ellen Degeneres.
The three-acre contemporary compound included the 9,000-square-feet main house, two guesthouses, a pool, a detached gym, and an underground garage. It boasts a manicured lawn with a reflective pond and swimming pool. The mansion initially amounted to $36.5 million, but the TV host listed this for $85 million after adding a massage room and media room. As of the moment, we’re still waiting for a house tour of his current estate.
Condoleezza Rice – Bay Area, $2.3 Million
One of the most influential women of her generation would have to be Condoleezza Rice. Her stellar contribution as the country’s secretary of state is beyond remarkable! Despite her busy schedule, you’d be glad to know that Rice has other hobbies, too, like buying and selling prime real estate!
And while Rice’s property portfolio isn’t as huge as you would think, her Bay Area home takes the cake for being the most eye-catching amidst its simple two-bedroom design. So much that Stanford University snatched it off Rice at $2.3 million as soon as she put it up for sale! Isn’t that impressive?
Dick Cheney – Maryland, $2.6 Million
Dick Cheney’s beautiful property in Maryland was released from the hands of the former Vice-President after he sold it at a loss of $2.1 million. We bet saying the goodbyes to this abode, which consisted of five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, must have been tough for the politician.
But we believe he shifted somewhere even more majestic than this nine-acre lodging, which also featured a guesthouse, apart from the main dwelling. The lush vegetation is another pull factor that allowed Dick to sell the estate off not too late, after he put it on the market.
Madeleine Albright – Washington, $3 Million
Madeleine Albright is no stranger to being on the right side of history. When Bill Clinton was president, she was the first woman to become America’s top diplomat in his cabinet. Her residence back in the 60s is as inspiring as she is! The politician bought a house called “Tiffany’s,” owing to the previous owners of the famed jewelry line!
When Albright moved in, she had the interiors and fireplaces renovated by the same designer who had originally worked on the property. Bought for $3 million, it features an outdoor saltwater pool and a cute cottage!
