A Close Call
Snakes can’t sense that a human is trying to help them. They see all invasion of privacy as hostile, and this is why they seldom react pleasantly to humans unless they’ve been trained. As a result, even vets who specialize in snakes have to be very careful when handling them.
In the anacondas case, they’re not poisonous, but this doesn’t make them less dangerous as they can kill by strangling with their enormous and muscular bodies. That worker was about to put himself in real danger, but thankfully, he reconsidered and listened to his colleagues.
