Hope Solo, 40 – Washington, United States
Hope Solo from Richland, Washington, is a World Cup champion and a two-time Olympic Gold medalist. As one of the greatest female goalkeepers ever, she holds the U.S. record for most career clean sheets.
Solo got her first taste of soccer from a young age, and while her father caused the spark, she kept the fire burning all by herself. In 2016, she earned her 100th shutout during a friendly game, making her the first female goalkeeper to achieve that many shutouts in international competitions. In 2022, she launched her podcast “Hope Solo Speaks.”
