Jennie Finch, 41 – California, United States
Jennie Finch started playing softball at age five. And thanks to her father’s influence, she started pitching at eight. Considering her early introduction to the sport, we’re not surprised that Finch was a California Interscholastic Federation Division II choice during her sophomore year.
Out of school, Finch took the world by storm and won the Women’s College World Series in 2011. Also, in 2004, Finch led the U.S. Women’s national softball team to receive a gold medal at the Summer Olympics. So when she retired in 2010, it was with a spotless reputation and an impressive portfolio. In 2021, Finch appeared on “MLB The Show 21.”
