Silje Norendal is a former Norwegian snowboarder who was at the forefront of the snowboard world for over a decade throughout her career. So it must’ve been quite a surprise when she announced her retirement at the Laax Open in 2019. Still, her fans understood that she was ready to explore new horizons.
Before saying goodbye to the sport, Norendal had eight World Cup podiums, four X Game wins, and the 2019 Utah slopestyle world championship silver to her name. So you know she’s not called Norway’s snowboard queen for nothing. In 2021, she gave birth to her first child with Alexander Bonsaksen named Bianca.
