Multitalented is the word to describe the American-born Canadian soccer defender Lauren Sesselmann. She’s got a taste for soccer and basketball, and though she played both in high school, college was a different world, and she had to choose a specialty.

We know what choice she made because she started playing soccer professionally after her time at Purdue University. In 2022, she was a defender for the Santa Clarita Heat. But Sesselmann’s talents also fall into the art department, and she’s made appearances in movies and series, including “Love Afterlife.”
