As a football nation, Ghana has established itself as one of the stronger teams in Africa. This was proven most impressively at the 2010 tournament, where they made it to the quarter-finals and were a whisker away from the semis. They are also a dominant force in Africa.

They’ve won the Africa Cup of Nations four times and also lost the final another five times. They are also renowned for their colorful fans adorned in their colorful flag and include some very exotic-looking women. Ghana also holds the distinction of going the entire 2005 unbeaten. They are Africa’s lowest-ranked team (61) in the 2022 tournament.
