Paul Newman- Lung Cancer
When Paul Newman left this world in September 2008, he was surrounded by family and friends. Months earlier, the press reported that he was under medical care following a lung cancer diagnosis. According to the Associated Press, the late Aaron Edward Hotchner revealed that Newman had battled the illness for 18 months before his diagnosis was publicized.
He’s interred near his Westport, Connecticut home. He had been married to Joanne Woodward for five decades and was survived by six children. Throughout his career, he appeared in more than 60 films and earned 10 Oscar nominations.
