Bill Withers – Heart Complications
Grammy-winning legend Bill Withers is behind timeless hits like Ain’t No Sunshine, Lean on Me, and Lovely Day. His musical prowess earned him three Grammy Awards as well as a list of other accolades. He headlined Still Bill, a 2009 documentary that recounted his journey in the music industry.
He slowed down in 1985 and chose to pursue other interests while occasionally still performing. In March 2020, Withers passed away at the age of 81. He had heart complications, and his family went public with the news about his demise four days later. His final resting place is at the Hollywood Hills-based Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
