Maggie Smith is another British star who needs little introduction. For reference, you might have seen her in Sister Act, the Harry Potter films, or Downton Abbey. Even more impressive is the fact that she’s been involved in the entertainment industry for nearly seven decades now.
Smith has appeared in over 50 movies and still has more upcoming roles in Downton Abbey 2 as well as The Miracle Club. In 1990, she had the honor of earning the title of Dame at Her Majesty’s pleasure. At 86, Smith still has a spring to her step and, fortunately, survived breast cancer.
