Abby Wambach and Glennon Doyle

When Abby Wambach and Glennon Doyle met in 2016 at a librarian convention in Chicago, it was love at first sight. Both were there to promote their memoirs; Wambach’s “Forward” and Doyle’s “Love Warrior.” In September 2016, Wambach announced her divorce from Sarah Huffman. Similarly, in November 2016, Doyle separated from her husband of 14 years, Craig Melton.

On May 14, 2017, Wambach and Doyle sealed the deal with a small ceremony in Florida, raising their three kids, Wambach’s two daughters and Doyle’s son, since. In 2020, Doyle wrote her bestseller, “Untamed,” a tender tale about her journey to self-acceptance and the help she received, particularly from Wambach.
