Steve McFadden has been an honorary actor for over three decades. He made his acting debut in 1989 in the BBC film “The Firm.” He also appeared in works such as “Bergerac,” “The Minder,” and others. He became famous after he landed his breakthrough role as Phil Mitchell in the BBC drama “EastEnders.”
He has been in the series from 1990 to 2022, winning several awards for his performance. McFadden took a one-year break from the series in 2003 to focus on his character in “Pantomimes,” a stage-produced musical comedy. Other films he starred in include “Provoked” and “Murder In Mind.”
