Richard Chamberlain, 88
Although Richard Chamberlain has slowed down his career, there’s no confirmation that he’s retired from acting. He has been active in the industry even in his senior age since he first appeared on television in the 1950s.
Chamberlain’s passion for acting was evident early on, co-founding the Los Angeles-based theater group Company of Angels even before joining Hollywood. The actor’s breakout role was in the TV show ‘Dr. Kildare,’ where he played the title character. His appearance made the good-looking star a teen idol during the late ’60s. Some of the other works the actor is known for are the TV series ‘The Thorn Birds’ and ‘Shōgun.’
